How should I care for my earrings/ornaments?

You can easily remove dirt and makeup from clay components by gently going over dirty spots with a q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol**. Gold brass components may tarnish and darken over time if exposed to water and oils from the skin, but can be easily cleaned with a soft cloth and/or tarnish remover. 

**EXCEPTIONS: DO NOT clean earrings designs from COLLECTION 3 (Afternoon Tea) with rubbing alcohol. Since the earrings in this collection have hand drawn designs, the ink may bleed and came off the clay.

Avoid bending the clay, scratch the surface, or pull roughly on the components attached with jump rings as some components can be delicate. 

What materials do you use?

My handmade products are made of high-quality polymer clay, which are very lightweight materials that may be slightly flexible. Polymer clay is a unique material that can easily be visually confused for ceramic, but feels absolutely nothing like it in person!

Can I request customization on an item?

Yes, I do accept customs orders if you are ordering in bulk. Custom orders will incur extra charges. If you are a retailer interested in custom designs for wholesale, or a bride looking for a custom bridal party earrings, please send me a message :) 

How come my products do not look exactly like those in pictures?

All items are handmade, and therefore each piece is unique and some small imperfections and inconsistencies may occur. Examples of these may include very small bubbles, dusts, slight variances of color from what appears on screen, or other small marks that in no way affect the functionality or overall aesthetic appeal of an item. Returns will not be accepted on the basis of small imperfections such as these.

What is your cancellation, return, and exchange policy?

Cancellation: I will honor requests to cancel orders within 24 hours of their purchase. I will not cancel orders past 24 hours of placement for any reason. 

Returns: Buyer must pay return shipping if a return is requested. If you do not contact me within three days of when you received the products, I will not issue refunds, grant returns, or mail replacements. I cannot replace items if they break or are otherwise damaged while in your possession, or with regular use.

Do you ship outside USA? 

Yes, I do ship worldwide. Any delivery outside of US may incur extra charges and take longer to get the product delivered to you, please be patient. 

What is your shipping policy? How long does shipping take?

My default shipping method is USPS first class mail, and shipping upgrades can be added on during checkout. Current processing time is about 2-3 business days. Shipping usually takes an additional 2-3 business days in USA, and longer outside of USA.

I try my hardest to ship every item in a timely manner, but Her Paints and Planet is a one-woman operation, and since all of my items are 100% made by hand in small batches, I prefer not to rush the process. Things occasionally get backed up, especially around holidays. When I ship an item, you will always receive an email you to let you know, which includes the tracking number so that the package can be tracked on its way to you.

I am not liable for the amount of time the post office takes to scan in an item once I drop it off, or if a package is lost by the shipping carrier, and I will not give refunds on this basis. Once an item leaves my hands, I am not responsible for issues that may be caused by the shipping carrier, including delayed delivery, lost items, stolen items, etc. I will not refund or replace these items.
